how to install wall to wall rail and balusters

To open up up an area over a staircase on the 2nd floor, we just removed a wall from floor to ceiling. We had an engineer audit and confirm that it was not a load bearing wall and that this could exist done.

Now we want to install a handrail from one wall to the other on the landing. It is a flat landing and is 92 inches long.

I have purchased the handrail and the balusters to be used. I have brackets that will deeply attache the handrail to the walls (they are 2X4's) on each cease. I have not installed information technology yet.

I am not sure how to attach the balusters to the handrail and to the floor. The balusters are 1.5 by 1.5 and 1 finish is flat and the other stop has a round protuberance to set into a predrilled pigsty.

Does the flat end or the round end continue superlative? If the round end then I am certain I need to space and drill the holes for them to go into and attach with gum.. only do I also use a nail with this?

I imagine that I volition attach a bottom rails of some sort (a 1 x 2) on the flooring and attach the bottom of the balusters to this. How do I practise this?

Any advice would be great!!!

Thank you.

John
